Submission for April 2026 meeting of “Your Most Challenging Image of All Time”

Description: 12/19/2015, Canon T5i, 500 mm 1,8 lens at ISO 1600, f5.6, 1/13. Way too slow, but.... That day I spent 42 minutes at the bat exhibit, by myself. Numerous times had I been there. Fascinated by bats and loving to capture things in the dark. Forever I thought the image was too noisy, to this and to that. Today I love it, it's hanging in my bathroom and makes me smile every time I look at it. It is hanging upside down and looks like the bat is standing up and screaming at me.
